DENVER, Colorado– It’s been a dog-gone good week for Bryan Parks, who is FINALLY reunited with his 9-year old pitbull Zuri after several weeks of panic.
“We did it everybody after 24 days she is home safe with her dad,” said Parks in a Facebook post, “As of 10:37 pm 3/2. She is Happy, Healthy and in High Spirits.”

Parks is an Instacart delivery driver, and while dropping off an order in City Park on February 4th, he says his car was stolen with Zuri inside. He says a car pulled up alongside his van, and a woman got into it and drove away.
Since that moment, Parks did everything he possibly could to get his beloved Zuri back– which included making a Facebook page, “Help Find Zuri,” and offering a $2,000 reward for her safe return.
The page now has more than 1,300 followers and proved to be a crucial part of tracking Zuri down.
An administrator of the group, Amber Blodgett, wrote, “Today has been filled with joy and lots of happy tears. We cannot thank this group enough for helping bring Zuri home! As you can imagine, the past 24 hours have been overwhelming for Bryan… Zuri was returned last night 3/2 to Bryan. She has been with a kind woman for nearly 3 weeks, being well taken care of. We probably will not have more information than that as this was a “no questions asked” return. However, Zuri did make a new doggie friend while she was away.”

Now, the admins say the Facebook page will continue to serve as a platform for other pet lovers to find their lost animals.
Parks wrote, “Me and Zuri are committed to help where we can! Not knowing where your loved one is extremely crippling, no one should have to go through this experience alone. I definitely want to be used as a resource when others are missing their animals I can give advice, just be someone to talk to, or help on the ground.”
Welcome home, Zuri!
