GRAND JUNCTION, Colorado — Call it a rock n’ roll miracle when a stranger happened to see a young kid playing a “Dimebag Darrell” riff in the J.B. Hart Music Co., Inc. store.

Fallon is a young kid from Montrose living with Williams Syndrome, who has an incredible love and knowledge of music. His parents would spend an hour each way driving him to that Grand Junction music store whenever possible. The store says that every time he would walk into Hart Music, he would ask to play the Pantera guitar, meaning the Dean Dimebag Darrell ML Guitar.

In case that legendary name is new to you, Dimebag was an assassinated guitarist from the heavy metal bands Pantera and Damageplan, and widely considered one of the greatest guitarists of all time.

“We were shocked he knew some Dimebag riffs,” the Hart Music store wrote on Facebook, “His dream was to own this guitar.”

Eight months ago a customer saw Fallon rocking out. The person left that day but was so moved by the interaction that they returned to the store and bought the $800 Pantera guitar, with one condition: that it would be anonymously given to Fallon the next time he came in to play.

It was several months before Fallon was able to return to Hart Music– the store says he had moved to Texas and was only back for a quick visit. And what a special reunion!

“It was a wonderful experience to gift Fallon his dream guitar as a gift from a kind stranger,” said the Hart Music store, “His mom burst into tears, and Fallon beamed with excitement. It was a special moment. There are still good people in this world.”

To make matters even better, the band Pantera heard about Fallon, and sent him some swag to make him smile.
