ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colorado — Round of a-paws for the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office!

Thanks to several fast-acting deputies, an adorable husky was rescued from an RV that caught on fire.

On Tuesday, deputies responded to a call about an RV engulfed in flames. They say they had to act fast after hearing cries and screams from inside the RV.

“It was a haunting image,” Deputy Nick Collins said.

By the time deputies were able to get the dog out of the camper, it was unconscious from inhaling too much smoke.

Fortunately, Sable Altura Fire arrived and gave the dog oxygen before bringing it to an emergency veterinary clinic.

Now, thanks to these heroes, the dog is expected to make a full recovery. Yay!
